Knapton Hall

When you imagine a traditional college academic building, you probably see Knapton Hall. The building occupies a prime space on the campus, bordering the Dimple, and is home to the social sciences. It features faculty offices, classrooms and study rooms. Its largest lecture hall, known as Knapton Lecture, can fit up to 60 people in stadium seating. Built in 1911 as a science and assembly hall, Knapton was named for former history professor Dr. Ernest John Knapton.
