The state-of-the-art Mars Center for Science and Technology opened in the fall of 2011 and has been recognized with LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for its eco-friendly design and construction. It is home to the college’s science and math departments and features classrooms, faculty offices, research and teaching laboratories, study spaces, a rooftop greenhouse and an astronomy observatory. Located on the lower level is the Diana Davis Spencer ’60 Café, which serves Green Mountain coffee along with soups, sandwiches and pastries.
