Wallace Library
Academic
The Madeleine Clark Wallace Library houses the college’s library collections and features electronic classrooms, study areas, collaboration rooms and meeting spaces. The building is also home to the offices of Library and Information Services and LIS Technical Support as well as the Marion B. Gebbie Archives and Special Collections—a collection of rare books, manuscripts, artwork and historical documents. The building has three entrances: the main entrance facing the Dimple, the Periodicals Level entrance, located diagonal to the Mars Center for Science and Technology, and an entrance in the stacks that connects to the Science Center and the Davis Spencer Café. Built in 1923, the library was named for alumna Madeleine Clark Wallace ’34.
