Admission
Whether you’re just beginning the college search, nearing its end or already enrolled at Wheaton, at some point you will find yourself at Admission, home of the Office of Admission as well as the Office of Student Financial Services, which has its own entrance on the left side of the building near the Chapel. Overlooking the Dimple, and just around the corner from the student center, the building is also where campus tours originate (just look for the smart-looking person in blue walking backwards). In addition to special preview days, the Office of Admission offers tours throughout the year, including Saturdays in the late summer and fall. Completed in 1903, the building was originally built as a gymnasium, with exercise equipment, a second-floor running track and a swimming pool, where Wheaton’s synchronized swimming team was formed. The gym was converted into Admission in 1966.
