Center for Global Education

Academic

Located at 5 Howard Street, the Center for Global Education provides resources for students, faculty and staff interested in international study, research and work abroad programs as well as programming throughout the academic year, such as study abroad information sessions and funding for cross-cultural events. The center has connections to more than 70 programs in locations ranging from Argentina to Australia, Egypt to Ireland and beyond. The popular Semester in Bhutan program, for example, is a unique partnership between Wheaton and Royal Thimphu College—the first private college in the world’s last Buddhist kingdom. The Center also provides support for the many international students attending Wheaton; the campus is home to students from more than 60 countries around the world.
