Clark Recreation Center

Athletic

Located across the street from the main campus, the Clark Recreation Center is used primarily for intramural and recreational sports. It has a vaulted ceiling and court space for playing basketball, badminton and volleyball and other recreational activities. It also holds varsity locker rooms, meeting spaces and athletic staff offices. Before the Haas Athletic Center was built in 1991, the Clark Recreation Center served as the main facility for Wheaton athletics. Built in 1965, it was named for Mr. and Mrs. Brackett H. Clark, whose daughters Virginia ’53 and Helen ’60 attended the college. Mr. Clark was a college trustee from 1960 to 1975 (Emeritus).
