Clark Softball Field

Athletic

Part of the Clark athletic complex, the Clark Softball Field is home to the Wheaton softball team, which has used the field since softball became a varsity sport at Wheaton in the mid-1970s. The field features wooden team dugouts, outdoor batting cages, bullpens, a permanent 6-foot outfield fence, bleachers, an electronic scoreboard and a press box. Clark Softball Field and the rest of the complex were named for Mr. and Mrs. Brackett H. Clark, whose daughters Virginia ’53 and Helen ’60 attended the college. Mr. Clark was a college trustee from 1960 to 1975 (Emeritus).
