Located above Emerson Dining Hall, Emerson Hall resembles a traditional residence hall but is considered a theme house programmatically. The hall features single and double rooms. In theme houses, students live together under a common purpose or passion. Themes may change from year to year and include topics such as peace and world consciousness, the environment, arts, healthy lifestyles and cultural diversity. Emerson Hall was built in 1908 and was named for former college treasurer and trustee the Rev. Alfred Emerson.
