Keefe Field

Athletic

Keefe Field is home to the Wheaton men’s soccer team. The competition-quality sod field features two goal frames with 20-foot net screens, team shelters, permanent metal bleachers and an electronic scoreboard. The field was dedicated in 1988, named for alumna Jean Mulcahy Keefe ’44 and was made possible by a donation from former college trustee Harry V. Keefe. The field was rededicated in 2006, following renovations that were made possible by a gift from women’s lacrosse parents Tom and Jeri Konig P’07. In 1994, Keefe Field was the training ground for the Nigerian men’s soccer team, which used Keefe Field to prepare for that year’s FIFA World Cup.
