Norton Medical Center (NMC), Wheaton’s designated student health center, is a private neighborhood family practice facility located on campus and owned and operated by Sturdy Memorial Associates. NMC is located at 14 Taunton Avenue and provides routine medical care to students as well as residents of the local community. To schedule an appointment, call 508-286-00/01; NMC does not provide walk-in care. The building also houses the Student Health Services coordinator’s office. Working in partnership with the medical professionals at NMC, the Student Health Services coordinator provides a variety of services including immunizations, exams and screenings, health education and off-campus resources. The medical center was built in 1996.
