Sidell Stadium

Athletic

The James V. Sidell Stadium is home to the Wheaton baseball team. Located next to the Clark Recreation Center, the field features a red-clay infield, cinder-block dugouts, outdoor batting cages, bullpens, permanent metal bleachers, a 10-inning electronic scoreboard and a press box. The field was dedicated in 1998 and was named for former trustee James V. “Jack” Sidell P’76 P’79, whose donation to the Campaign for Wheaton made stadium construction possible.
