The Sem

Residential

Consisting of two separate apartments at 1 and 3 Howard Street, The Sem is one of several theme houses on campus, where students live together under a common purpose or passion. Themes may change from year to year and include topics such as peace and world consciousness, the environment, arts, healthy lifestyles and cultural diversity. Built in 1834, the house was the first building constructed for Wheaton Female Seminary, the precursor to Wheaton College, and has been relocated three times.
